Who we are

Spatial Thinking is a trading name of NODEMAX LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 06127089). The short version

• This website uses no analytics, no tracking and no cookies.
• The Spatial Thinking desktop app is local-first: your work stays on your own computer. The free version has no account and no login.
• We do not sell your data, and the app does not send your documents to us.

The website

This site (spatialthinking.ai) is a plain marketing and research site. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts, so we do not collect personal data when you browse it. If you email us, we hold that email only to reply to you.

The desktop app

• Local-first. Spatial Thinking runs on your machine. The views, documents and automations you create are stored locally on your computer, not on our servers. The app does not send them to us.
• No account for the free version. There is no sign-up and no login. An optional App Lock can protect your local work; it uses your operating system’s secure credential store and is off by default.
• No usage tracking. We do not collect usage analytics or telemetry from the app.
• Services you connect. If you build an automation that calls a third-party service (for example an API you configure), your data is sent to that service as you direct. That is your integration with that provider, under their terms — not data we collect.
• AI model providers. The app does not send your content to any third-party AI model provider.

What personal data we hold, and why

The only personal data we routinely hold is email you send us, which we keep to respond and to keep a record of the correspondence. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in replying to you (or performance of a contract, if you become a customer). We do not hold special-category data, and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

How long we keep it

We keep email correspondence for up to 24 months, then delete it, unless we need it longer for a legal reason.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data, except with service providers who help us operate (such as our website host and email provider), and only as far as needed to provide the service.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email tony@spatialthinking.ai and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above shows when. Material changes will be noted on this page.
